NISG determines allocation of funds, approves campus events

The Northern Iowa Student Government Senate underwent three hours of debate and votes April 7, deliberating over a full docket of 10 pieces of legislation.  Upon adjournment, two bills had been approved, with the remaining controversial items scheduled for a second reading next session.

UNI softball sweeps Indiana St.

The Northern Iowa softball team improved its Missouri Valley Conference record to 4-0 after a three game sweep of the Indiana State Sycamores. On Saturday, the Panthers won both games of a doubleheader taking a 6-3 decision in the first game and earning a 1-0 victory in the second game.

Three Tall Women spotlights seniors' studies

The University of Northern Iowa’s Theatre Department will present its first play of the spring semester, “3 Tall Women.” The play is written by Edward Albee and directed by Benjamin Sheridan. Performances will take place Feb. 25 to 27 and March 4 to 6 at 7:30 p.
