The Office of International Programs hosted Fulbright Workshop on Monday. Alisha Scott and Michael Zdanovich, program officers from the Council for International Exchange of Scholars in Washington, D.C., presented to faculty and staff in Seerley Hall.
Along with over 70 University of Northern Iowa faculty and staff, representatives from Allen College, Cornell College and Hawkeye Community College were in attendance. The presentation covered how to apply for Fulbright Scholar grants, additional Fulbright Scholar opportunities for U.S. faculty and professionals and Fulbright Visiting Scholar opportunities.
A question and answer session followed during which attendees had an opportunity to address Mohammed Rawwas, former UNI Fulbrighter, and Carl Thurman, future UNI Fulbrighter.
The reception was sponsored by International Programs and Services Advisory Council. Since 1999, 12 UNI faculty members have participated in the Fulbright program.
