At the request of the State of Iowa Auditor’s Office, the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting an investigation at the Malcolm Price Laboratory School in Cedar Falls. The Iowa Attorney General’s office will serve in the role of prosecutor.

“At this time, no charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing,” DCI Director John Quinn said. “The DCI is investigating to determine if white collar crime was committed. The students, faculty and staff at the school are not in harm’s way.”

Price Laboratory School is located on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa. Malcolm Price Laboratory School provides clinical teacher education and research at the early childhood, elementary, middle and high school levels. Price Laboratory School is part of UNI’s College of Education.
