The Northern Iowan welcomes letters to the editor on topics of interest to the University of Northern Iowa community. Letters should include the author’s name, major and classification (or title), address and telephone number. Letters can be submitted via email at northern-iowan@uni.edu or via the submission form at the bottom of this page. Letters to the editor must be 300 words or less. Longer letters may be published only if space allows and at the discretion of the editor. The Northern Iowan is not obligated to print any submission. All letters are subject to editing for grammar, style, length and clarity and should be as short as possible.
