Check out American Idol winner David Cook on campus on Feb. 19.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m., Jan. 26 for David Cook live in concert on the University of Northern Iowa campus.

Sponsored by Panther Productions and the Campus Activities Board, the concert will be held Feb. 19 in the Maucker Union Ballroom. UNI students will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets during the week of Jan. 26, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Maucker Union before they become available to the public.

Only cash will be accepted. Tickets are $5 each with a limit of three per student.

David Cook, the 25-year-old reigning American Idol, debuted an astonishing 11 songs on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, including "Light On" and "The Time of My Life." Cook will be performing hit songs from his self-titled major-label debut album.

"I'm putting out a rock record," said Cook. "I just want the songs to kick you in the teeth or make you want to cry — or do something drastic, like jump off a building. I want somebody to be exhausted when they're done listening."

Panther Productions has now joined together with the Campus Activities Board that has brought about Thursday night movies, Western Night, and other exciting activities to UNI students.
